Dunnellon Trail

The 2.4-mile-long paved Dunnellon multi-use trail is sited primarily along a historic railroad bed that runs along the Rainbow River south of County Road 484 and the Blue Run Park and tubers take-out.

Withlacoochee State Trail

Baseline Road Trailhead

The Baseline to Marshall Swamp area of the Cross Florida Greenway offers two trails, providing visitors the opportunity to enjoy a paved urban trail or escape to a secluded multi-use trail.

Landbridge Trailhead

The Cross Florida Greenway’s Landbridge Trailhead was developed to provide access to the I-75 Landbridge. The structure, which is 52 feet wide by 200 feet long, follows a natural ridge over 100 feet in elevation to minimize ecological damage.

Ross Prairie Trailhead & Campground

This area is ecologically unique due to the adjacent placement of the high, dry sandhill community where the trailhead and campground are located, and the ephemeral wetland that is located just north of the public use facilities.

Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway

Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park
