Tallahassee-St. Marks Historic Railroad State Trail

Through the early 1900s, this historic railroad corridor carried cotton from the plantation belt to the coast for shipment to textile mills in England and New England. The trail runs 16 miles from Florida's capital city to the coastal community of St. Marks.

Landbridge Trailhead

The Cross Florida Greenway’s Landbridge Trailhead was developed to provide access to the I-75 Landbridge. The structure, which is 52 feet wide by 200 feet long, follows a natural ridge over 100 feet in elevation to minimize ecological damage.

Ross Prairie Trailhead & Campground

This area is ecologically unique due to the adjacent placement of the high, dry sandhill community where the trailhead and campground are located, and the ephemeral wetland that is located just north of the public use facilities.

Located just east of U.S. 19 on the south side of the Cross Florida Barge Canal, Felburn Park has paved parking, potable water, several picnic pavilions, a small playground and access to paved trails along the barge canal.

Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park
