Welcome to St. Sebastian River Preserve State Park

Pine flatwood are the focal point of the preserve, serving as a backdrop to over 23 different distinct natural communities. Cypress domes, Strand Swamps, scrub ridges and the other natural features are home to over 70 listed species of threatened flora and fauna.
Photographers, bird watchers and nature explorers can access and enjoy over 60 miles if multi-use trails on foot, horseback or bicycle. Canoeing, boating and fishing are popular activities on the St. Sebastian River. All launching facilities are located outside the preserve. However, the two canoe landings offer entrance into the preserve off of the river and access to the trail system.
