Sixteen distinct natural communities create the mosaic that is Jonathan Dickinson, the largest state park in Southeast Florida. Rare environments as well as the pristine Loxahatchee River make this park a unique spot to explore on land or by water.

Take a dip in the first-magnitude spring, walk the natural limestone bridge that crosses the spring run, or picnic under the shade of the oak trees with their swaying Spanish moss.

Stretching 20 miles into the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico, St. Joseph Peninsula is a true wildlife haven. Its powdery beaches and bayside salt marshes are nesting grounds for sea turtles, shore birds and the endangered St. Andrews beach mouse.
