Wes has left an overall lasting impression on the park, and we are excited to witness his future accomplishments at Blue Spring and throughout the Florida Park Service.
The Blue Spring State Park administrative team stated that James (Wes) has completed several notable projects that served to improve the park and benefit Blue Spring's nearly 700,000 annual park visitors. Wes has remodeled the entire exterior of the park's Ranger Station, rebuilt the roof of the shop yard supply shed, constructed a tram for interpretive tours, and has coordinated the reconstruction of our new boardwalk and river cruise ticket booth. He has been steadily rewiring and improving everything electrical in the park. Despite how busy he is, he always makes himself available to help with other initiatives. Wes takes administration as seriously as maintenance, always ensuring the park receives the proper licenses and permits before starting any project. Lastly, he has made great contributions to Blue Spring's burn crew and the park's natural resource goals. Wes has left an overall lasting impression on the park, and we are excited to witness his future accomplishments at Blue Spring and throughout the Florida Park Service.
