Tyler and Jill Sheff have received the 2020 Team of 2 Award for Protection. They volunteer at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, where Jill helps in the office and Tyler works with the aquarium and the visitor center.

Carolyn Morgan and Carol Cone have received the 2020 Team of 2 Award for Administration. They volunteer at Oscar Scherer State Park, where their most recent project was digitizing 35 mm slide films into photos we can use today.

Bill and Anita Johnson have received the 2020 Team of 2 Award for Visitor Services. They volunteer at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, where they serve as campground hosts, make repairs to facilities and assist with exotic plant removal.

Tom and Lynn Maize have received the 2020 Team of 2 Award for Resource Management. They volunteer at Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area at Flagler Beach and North Peninsula state parks. They develop programs and work to remove invasive plants from the parks.

The Friends of Anastasia have received the Special Event Award for Resource-Based Recreation. The Endless Summer Run is an annual 5K and 10K race organized by the group along with Don’s Friends.

The Friends of Highlands Hammock have received the Special Event Award for Cultural Resources. The group organized and presented the Florida Series Four!, a series of guest lectures at Highlands Hammock State Park from scholars on a variety of topics.

Seven volunteers have received the Short-Term Project Award for Resource-Based Recreation. These volunteers rebuilt the Lester Finley Barrier Free Fishing/Observation Dock at Oscar Scherer State Park.

Rick and Ruth Cheverie have received the 2020 Short-Term Project Award for Cultural Resources. They led efforts to restore a cabin built at the park in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps.
