Park Services Specialist, Dianne Drye

Withlacoochee State Trail

Dianne Drye is a Florida native, born and raised in Largo. She moved to Citrus County in 1980 and has been here ever since.

Dianne started her park service career in 1994 at Fort Cooper State Park as a part-time ranger. She was then promoted to a full-time ranger and worked as the volunteer coordinator and special events coordinator. In 2015 she was promoted to park services specialist on the Withlacoochee State Trail.

She is the volunteer coordinator for the trail and enjoys working with the volunteers on any project that comes up. She enjoys talking with trail visitors. Dianne loves nature, being outside and doing what she can to improve the trail.

Her spare time is spent gardening, fishing and playing with her two chihuahuas, one yorkie and two cats. Dianne is a real asset to the trail and we are lucky to have her. Say hi to her when you see her on the trail.
