Find a Park

Class II rapids are a rarity in Florida, but you can find them at beautiful Hillsborough River State Park. Just minutes from downtown Tampa, this diverse park offers a refuge from city life with seven miles of nature trails and ample places to cool off in the water.

Gold Head is located on rolling sandhills on the north central ridge of Florida with one of the few remaining examples of an old-growth stand of longleaf pines. Marshes, lakes and scrub provide habitat for a wide variety of wildlife.
