Welcome to John Gorrie Museum State Park! While visiting historic Apalachicola, let park staff interpret the local history and contributions made by famous resident Dr. John Gorrie. You should also plan a visit to the other areas in Apalachicola managed by the Florida Park Service; The Orman House, Chapman Botanical Gardens, and the Three Soldiers Detail statue.

The John Gorrie Museum State Park is always seeking the aid of volunteers in many areas including, general maintenance, landscaping and lawn maintenance, and cataloguing of collections. If you are interested in volunteering at the John Gorrie Museum State Park or the Orman House Historic State Park, please contact Jeromy Roundtree at 850-653-1209 or Jeromy.Roundtree@FloridaDEP.gov.
