Campground Closure
Effective April 1, 2024: Beginning May 15, 2025, the campground at Dr. Julian G. Bruce St. George Island State Park will be closed for an expansion project. Because campground reservations can be made up to 11 months in advance, all campground reservations have been suspended from the timeframe starting May 15, 2025, for several months while construction is underway. Reservations will be opened as soon as possible after the expansion project has concluded.
Hours
The park is open 8 a.m. until sundown, 365 days a year.
