John Willis, Park Services Specialist
John began with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Sebastian Inlet State Park in January of 2023. He was recently promoted to Park Services Specialist and assists with visitor service programming for the park. John also coordinates with park management for special events and organizes volunteer recruitment and service programs. John helps with monitoring and defining volunteer needs for park programs and currently assists with the docent program. John maintains preventative and routine maintenance schedule of museum facilities, storage areas and grounds.
John helps organize community outreach activities to expand public understanding of the Florida Park Service and the park’s management objectives. He represents the park and the Florida Park Service to outside agencies and organizations, disseminating information and promoting all opportunities provided by the park.
