Dallas is the embodiment of the best that the Florida Park Service has to offer. During his almost 30 years with the park service, Dallas has made many positive impacts to state parks, the people who visit them and the natural resources they protect. At St. Lucie Inlet and Seabranch Preserve State Park, Dallas heads up the resource management and volunteer programs, two cornerstones of what make our parks great.
On any given day you might find Dallas working with our Florida Conservation Corps members removing invasive exotic plants or leading a volunteer project to improve park facilities. The joy that Dallas takes in his work is evident on a daily basis, and our state parks are that much better because of him.
