Cody Nolan grew up in Port St. Lucie, Florida. After serving four years in the Army, Cody decided to seek a career with the Florida State Park Service. He decided to become a park ranger because of his interest in resource management and his love for the great outdoors.
One of his favorite times of the year is during our two-week long Lights at Night Firefly program. This is when we have thousands of visitors come to our park, after hours, to view the spectacular firefly display. He is proud to work in a park that is the winter home for over 500 manatees.
Cody can often be found sharing stories and educating our visitors on the importance of preserving our natural and cultural resources.
