The Barnacle Historic

The Barnacle Historic State Park

This beautiful house with a whimsical name dates to a simpler time. Built in 1891, The Barnacle offers a glimpse of frontier life during the Era of the Bay, when all travel to and from Miami was by boat.

Collier-Seminole State Park

Collier-Seminole State Park lies within one of the largest mangrove swamps in the world. A wide variety of wildlife, including several imperiled species, inhabits this unusual blend of temperate and tropical native plant communities.
