Find a Park

Kissimmee Prairie Preserve is a breathtaking expanse of infinite grassland. Home to numerous endangered species, the 54,000-acre park is a stage for some of nature’s most furious productions, from flood to fire to rebirth. It has been honored with a Dark Sky designation.

Gold Head is located on rolling sandhills on the North Central Ridge of Florida with one of the few remaining examples of an old growth stand of longleaf pines. A steep head ravine with seepage springs forms Gold Head Branch and bisects the park. Marshes, lakes and scrub provide habitat for a wide variety of wildlife.

The Suwannee River Wilderness Trail is a partnership of locations along the river to provide amenities to trail users, these locations have been designated as river camps, hubs and parks.
