Amenities
Historic Site
A Civil War era earthworks fort, Yellow Bluff Fort was home to Confederate and Union encampments. Built in 1862, this fort is a unique example of an earthwork fortification. The contours of the land tell the story of the fort’s construction, built strategically overlooking the St. Johns River to allow troops to watch for enemy ships.
- Replica cannons and a stone monument stand as testament to the troops who served here.
