There are 9.7 miles of multiuse trails and paved roads in the park for bicyclists to enjoy (semi-rough terrain with moderate elevation changes). 

  • Helmets are highly recommended for all cyclists and Florida law requires helmets for cyclists age 16 and under.

Bird-viewing opportunities are bountiful at Three Rivers State Park! We have our very own bird-watching checklist made readily available to those interested. 

American bald eagles make their nests within the park and can be seen soaring over the lake.

Waterfowl by the hundreds seek refuge in the quiet bays and sloughs that surround the park.

Three Rivers is part of the Great Florida Birding Trail, a project of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. A map can be found at Florida Birding Trail.

Both Florida and Georgia are in view from the park's campground located near the banks of Lake Seminole.

Water, electricity, a picnic table and a grill ring are available at each of the campsites. Pets are welcome at the campsites. Restrooms are located in the park. A dump station is located in the camping area. The campground includes a small boat ramp and a large fishing pier that extends out onto Lake Seminole.

  • Maximum RV length = 50 ft.

A group camp is available. Amenities include one group-size grill and a large brick restroom with several showers, toilets and sinks.

  • No pets or alcoholic beverages are allowed.
  • Call the park at 850-482-9006 for reservations.
Fishing
Fishing

Fishing is a popular activity at the park and Lake Seminole is well-known for its yields. Largemouth and smallmouth bass, catfish, bluegill, speckled perch and bream are some of the fish that might be landed by anglers.

  • All fishing within the park must conform to regulations concerning size, number, method of capture and season. A fishing license may be required. More information is available at the Florida Wildlife Commission’s Fishing in Florida.

Trail users can travel the rolling hills of our upland pine habitat and along the shoreline of Lake Seminole. There are 9.7 miles of multiuse trails for your hiking pleasure. All trails are accessible from both the picnic/day-use and camping areas.

  • Because of terrain and elevation, helmets are required at all times by those under 16 years of age but are suggested for everyone.

Lake Seminole provides an excellent venue for canoeing and kayaking.

A large picnic area in the park overlooks Lake Seminole, providing spectacular views of the lake and the Georgia shoreline on the opposite side of the lake.

  • Three picnic pavilions, grills, picnic tables and a restroom are located in the picnic area.
  • Three nature trails begin in the picnic area.

There are three open-air picnic pavilions in the day-use area. One pavilion with indoor/outdoor seating is available. 

  • Pavilions can be used without a reservation on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Each of outdoor pavilion can be reserved for $30 plus tax by calling the park at 850-482-9006. Indoor pavilions can be reserved for $60 plus tax.
  • Rental of a pavilion does not include or waive the park entrance fee.

Three Rivers State Park is committed to providing a variety of amenities accessible to all of our visitors. These amenities include:

  • Fishing pier. Please talk with park staff about accessing the pier.
  • Campsites with concrete pad, picnic table, ground grill and nearby restrooms.
  • Picnic facilities with tables and grills.
  • Rustic cabin.

Service animals are welcome in all areas of Florida State Parks.

Boat Ramp

There are two small boat ramps within the park, suitable for smaller watercraft. One ramp is located within the campground for use by registered campers only.

The other ramp is located close to the picnic area for general use by park visitors.

There are also two county-maintained boat ramps that will accommodate larger craft; one of these ramps is found on the eastern boundary of the park and the other is found on the western boundary.

Three Rivers State Park only has one cabin.

A one-bedroom, one-bathroom rustic cabin with air conditioning, heating and a wood-burning fireplace overlooks Lake Seminole.

A queen-size bed in a downstairs bedroom and a standard-size bed in the loft provide comfortable sleeping accommodations.

A fully equipped kitchen includes an electric stove, microwave, refrigerator and utensils. Bring linens, towels, pillows, food and fishing gear.

  • For the guest's relaxation, televisions and phones are not provided.

  • Pets are not permitted in cabins.
  • Cabin reservations require a minimum two-night stay.
  • Cabin rental is $65 per night plus tax and a nonrefundable $6.70 reservation fee.

Pets are welcome at the park as long as they are kept on a six-foot leash and are well behaved. Pets are also allowed to stay in the campground under the same guidelines.

  • Pets are not allowed to stay in the cabin or cabin area. Pets are also not allowed in the group camp area. 
  • Please pick up after your pet and do not allow them to run free or bark incessantly.

There is a small playground within the park located in the picnic area.

In cooperation with the Jackson County Recycling Center, the park actively recycles plastics, cardboard and aluminum on a weekly basis.

Public restrooms are available in the picnic area for day-use visitors.

There is a climate-controlled bathhouse located in the family campground for registered campers only.

Staying hydrated on your outdoor adventures is important. Just bring a refillable water bottle to replenish your drinking water at the park. This will reduce single-use plastics in landfills and reduce the litter sometimes found along trails, at campsites, on beaches and in Florida’s waterways.
