Whether you plan to camp for a week or just spend a day at the beach, St. Andrews is not to be missed when visiting Panama City. The 1,200-acre park is a natural oasis located right on the peninsula of this popular vacation destination. Home to many species of plants and animals as well as beach access points, hiking trails and fishing piers, St. Andrews truly has something for everyone.

During the summer you can take a shuttle over to Shell Island, rent a kayak, or just spend a day relaxing on one of the world’s most beautiful beaches. Winter is a great time to explore the hiking trails, hunt for the park geocache, or look for the many species of wildlife that make their home in the park. No matter the season of your visit, you’ll find no shortage of fun activities and beautiful sights in St. Andrews State Park.

Be sure to check out our events page for information on upcoming programs, guided trail hikes, volunteer opportunities and more. Those interested in supporting the park should pick up an application in our Visitors Center to join the Friends of St. Andrews State Park. If you would like to join our ever-growing volunteer program, please contact our park office for details.

Whether you are a first-time explorer or a longtime lover of St. Andrews, we look forward to seeing you on your next trip to this beautiful and diverse park on Florida’s Emerald Coast.
