The Friends of MacArthur Beach State Park Environmental Education program is the recipient of the Long Project - Greener Initiative Award.
The Environmental Education program of the Friends of MacArthur Beach State Park offers high quality curriculum with an emphasis on sustainability. Using the “Leave No Trace” principles, the Education Team taught 5,000 1st through 12th graders how small actions can have a big impact.
