Buccanner Bay

Take in some sun on our sandy white beach or a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear spring waters, the ideal spot for swimming and snorkeling. To really kick back and relax, rent an inner tube and take a cool, lazy float on our natural river that slowly flows around the swimming area.

And no need to worry, there are certified lifeguards everywhere! For your little ones, you’ll love Lil’ Mates Caribbean Cove! It’s an exciting water play area and wading pool for children six years and younger.

When you need to take a snack break, you and your family can picnic in one of our many covered pavilions, purchase refreshments at our concessions or enjoy a delicious meal at our seasonal restaurant.

Buccaneer Bay truly has something for everyone in your group to enjoy!

RESTORATION DURING SUMMER 2020

May 29, 2020 – Weeki Wachee Springs State Park will be restoring the area around the headspring during the summer season of 2020. Rental equipment will be available. When social distancing guidelines allow, mermaid shows, river boat tours and wildlife shows will be available.
