Barbara Roberts, Park Manager

Whether you’re a photographer, hiker, geocache enthusiast, kayaker, angler or enjoy spending time on the water, Crystal River Preserve State Park offers a collection of experiences to enjoy at your own pace, on your own schedule. The park is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

As we get closer to summer, the mornings are still cool for a morning walk. Springtime is evident with fresh green leaves appearing on the variety of trees in our varied habitats. You’ll see an array of wildflowers blooming on our five hiking trails where butterflies abound flitting from flower to flower. If you have a canoe or kayak, consider launching for some scenic paddling between the numerous tidal creeks scattered throughout the preserve.

Visit Crystal River Preserve State Park, the perfect place to immerse yourself in Florida’s native landscapes. The park is a great place to get outdoors with your family or a friend. Enjoy a picnic or just watch the activity on the river.

Make time for yourself and come see the Real Florida!
