Black-necked Stilts, American Oystercatchers, and Bald Eagles have recently been viewed by park staff working at the preserve. The land that encompasses the preserve surrounds Estero Bay and is a prime location for bird watching. With multiple different access points leave park visitors with plenty of opportunity to view native wildlife and Florida’s unmatched beauty. The site's mangrove wetlands and salt marshes also filter runoff, maintain water quality and protect shorelines from erosion. This site is currently open; however, it has limited facilities.
We hope that you come visit us soon, the Estero Bay Preserve State Park is a very special place that we like for you to share with your family and friends.
