The amazing volunteers of Collier-Seminole State Park are a vital component in making the park the gem of southwest  Florida.

Our 2021-2022 volunteer season has been the best on record! Hard working, dedicated people working together as an efficient and productive team.

Our park volunteer team is one that any state park would be proud to have. They have accomplished many projects and surpassed goals such as the building of the firewood shed/closet in the campground where firewood is sold to campers.

They are in the final stages of completing the long-awaited butterfly garden in partnership with the Naples Native Plant Society and supported by the Friends of Collier-Seminole State Park.

Ranger station assistant volunteers are the first point of contact at Collier-Seminole State Park. They greet park visitors with smiling faces and professionalism.

We depend on our dedicated campground hosts to keep our bathhouses and campsites clean as a whistle with great reviews from our park campers and visitors.

The detail volunteers get the day started with opening the park, raising of flags, patrolling and being the park's eyes and ears to keep our visitors safe.

Volunteer interpreters present informative and engaging nature and wildlife programs on various topics such as reptiles, snakes, amphibians, birds and much more.

Our maintenance team tackles most repairs and construction projects with skill and speed but always with safety in mind.

The resource management volunteers work with maintaining the highest standards of safety, skill and experience when treating and removing invasive, non-native plants.

All of our dedicated volunteers, both seasonal park resident and local volunteers, have spent their valuable time, experience and skill in helping to make Collier-Seminole State Park a shining star in the family of Florida State Parks.

Our volunteer season could not have been a success without their help and support.

Thank you Collier-Seminole State Park Volunteer Team!
