Friends of Cape Florida Lighthouse Window Project Team
The Friends of Cape Florida Lighthouse Window Project Team is the recipient of the Long Project - Historical Award.
An extensive grant made by the Florida Lighthouse Association and additional support from the Florida Keys Reef Lights Foundation allowed the Friends of Cape Florida to complete a three-year project installing new glass in the Cape Florida Lighthouse lantern room. Funded by “Visit Our Lights” license plates, the upgrade restores 360° views just in time for the lighthouse’s 200th anniversary.
