Danny Smith
Danny Smith is a recipient of the Irene DeLaby 10,000 Hours of Service award.
Danny Smith has diligently served visitors by working as a resident volunteer campground host and resident maintenance volunteer. The Suwannee River Wilderness Trail cabins are some of the most remote areas in the park service and Danny might be the only staff the visitors ever see on their paddling trips. He has served many parks over the years but the bulk of his hours have been from the wilderness trail and O’leno state park.
