It’s always a great time of year to visit Lake Manatee State Park. Day visitors can enjoy the playground, pavilion, picnic area and swimming beach. Also available are fishing, canoeing, hiking, biking, geocaching and bird-watching. We also have 3.5 miles of equestrian trails for horseback riders.
Wildlife viewing is best done early in the morning or late afternoon. The park’s day use area is open from 8 a.m. to sunset daily.
Camping is available at Lake Manatee State Park for you to bring the family out for an overnight trip or a long weekend. We have well-buffered campsites. For reservations, visit the Florida State Parks reservations website or call 800-326-3521 or TDD 888-433-0287.
