Take a swim, snorkel or dive in this first magnitude spring that maintains its 72-degree temperature all year and descends to depths up to 70 feet. Head down the spring run toward the river to observe the remains of the Civil War era steamship Madison. Pack a basket to picnic at a table overlooking the spring, or amble along our nature trail and talk with the trees. If swimming and hiking aren’t your thing you can spend the day relaxing on the riverbank with your fishing pole catching bream, catfish, bass or mullet.
There is something for everyone to enjoy at Troy Spring State Park.
