Concert admission is $15 per adult. Accompanied children 12 years and younger are free of charge.
Description
Florida Boards, a local Heartland band, will make their second appearance on the Music in the Park stage and offer an unusual mix of music as their musical influences are diverse and include the following: Jimmy Buffet, Zac Brown and his country music band, Stick Figure, an American Reggae band from California, Southern rock, classic rock and blues and rock n roll. Founded by guitarist and lead singer Kendal Sheen, the band includes lead singer Dawn Smith, vocalist Clinton Anderson on keyboard, Harrison Havery on the bass guitar and Sawyer Humphrey on drums. This group of Highlands County musicians is known for performing the Abide and Circle of Truth concerts and other local venues. Fans and friends of the band are welcome to join in. They promise a relaxing, laid back evening of music from "happy beach" music to Southern rock. As this concert is close to the holidays, they will also perform a selection of Christmas music. Pets are not permitted. Bring blankets, lawn chairs, and flashlights and enjoy an evening of music under the stars. Refreshments and food are provided by the Hammock Inn concession and food vendors.
