The event is free with the park entry fee of $5.00 per vehicle, $4.00 for vehicles with one occupant, and $2.00 per pedestrian. Only exact change is accepted on the day of the event, and a QR code is available to pay by credit card.
Description
Join members of the Ancient City Astronomy Club for an evening under the stars! Take a tour of the night sky and get a look at different types of telescopes used in astronomy. We will start just before dark to allow visitors to get familiar with the equipment, then a member of the Astronomy Club will talk about common celestial bodies, including constellations, planets, and stars. We invite you to bring your own telescopes and binoculars to enhance the experience.
