Walk the Interpretive Trail
The park is open year-round, 365 days a year from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and a visitor center, trails and monument guide visitors through the battle in February in 1864.
The Florida Folk Festival is May 24-26
The biggest Florida State Park event of the year is fast approaching! The 67th annual Florida Folk Festival takes place on Memorial Day weekend, May 24-26, 2019, on the banks of the Suwannee River at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park.
Bike the Palatka-to-Lake Butler State Trail
One of the newer trails in the state park system, the Palatka-to-Lake Butler State Trail consists of 47 planned miles of paved path. Walkers, runners, cyclists, pets and inline skaters are welcome on this trail that will eventually stretch to the town of Palatka (and possibly farther) along the old Norfolk Southern Railroad track.
