The Florida Park Service is celebrating 50 years of prescribed fire in state parks. To commemorate the occasion, burners and staff gathered for a prescribed fire at Falling Waters State Park - the site of the first prescribed burn in 1971.

The Discovery Center serves as the gateway to Lovers Key State Park. The facility is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.
