Welcome to historic Port St. Joe! This town is where legislators met from across the territories of Florida to draft a constitution. We invite you to explore our museum, the monument and the beautiful landscape of the Constitution Convention Museum State Park.

Visitors will experience a wonderful day of birding or fishing at this preserve due to our habitat restoration efforts. Cockroach Bay Preserve State Park is accessible only by water.

When I hike through Cedar Key Scrub State Reserve over white sand hills and between towering longleaf pines, I’m reminded of what we call the Real Florida.

Meticulously crafted, our exhibits highlight the history of Cedar Key, from the indigenous people who once lived off the land to the booming timber industry of the 19th century and beyond.

Now is a great time to visit the trail for a relaxing run or bicycle ride through the Real Florida. Our amazing staff is available to assist in all your outdoor planning needs.

Big Shoals State Park is a place you'll long remember, offering 28 miles of trails that are perfect for hiking, biking and horseback riding.
