Enjoy a wilderness experience at this quiet park that helps protect the headwaters of the St. Marks River. Visitors can walk through sandy areas where pine trees grow or venture along shaded trails that lead into the river swamp of the St. Marks.

At this time recreation for South Fork State Park has not been developed. There are plans to improve the park for future access. For more information, please contact Lake Manatee State Park.

Hook up to one of the five mooring buoys surrounding the wreck of the San Pedro and jump in the clear blue water to experience the remains of this ship which was part of the 1733 plate fleet and designated as an Underwater Archaeological Preserve.

Enjoy the preserve by yourself, with a friend or even a four legged friend. There's so much to explore that you can’t see everything in just one day by foot, bike or horse.
