Full Moon Night Sounds Concert

April 11th catch St Johns Wood preforming at Sebastian Inlet! Join us for our monthly fundraising concert. All profit from donations, and the game of chance will go directly back into the park.

St Johns Wood is a five-piece band that transports you back to the music of the 1960's British invasion. This is the music that defined a generation including the Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who, Kinks, Zombies, David Bowie, Eric Clapton and many more. Enjoy the music that is etched into the golden history of Rock 'n Roll.

Volunteer Spotlight, Nathan Collins
Nathan Collins works a full-time job but still finds time to volunteer to help the environment. When asked why he chose the Florida Park Service, Nathan said "I wanted a way to offset my carbon footprint. Planting trees and protecting seagrass was one of the best ways I could think of to pursue that goal.”
International Coastal Cleanup

The beach is home to a diversity of animals that all depend on a clean Beach. Help us Celebrate International Coastal Cleanup Day at William J. "Billy Joe" Rish Recreation Area by helping to remove litter from the state park beach. Wear work clothes and shoes; bring a water bottle. All ages welcome!

Ready to turn your next walk in the park into an outdoor adventure? Grab a Nature Bingo card and set off on a scavenger hunt through the great outdoors! Spot a squirrel? See a wildflower? Catch a creepy-crawly in action? Mark it on your card! Your mission: find five nature items in a row—across, down, or diagonally—to win! Bring your winning card to the Ranger Station to claim a cool prize! But hurry—only the first 30 nature explorers will score one. Pick up your Nature Bingo card at the Ranger Station and let the adventure begin. It's fun, it's free, and it's the perfect way to explore the wonders of the park! Let's see how wild your bingo skills really are!

Experience the sights, smells and sounds of cooking on a wood-burning stove in the kitchen where Cross Creek Cookery was developed! This event will provide visitors a chance to see our stove in action as staff and volunteers prepare delicious dishes.

Historic House Tours, except the 1 PM tour, will be limited to twelve people each on Wood Stove Cooking days. A sign-up sheet will be available in-person day-of. All guests will be given a chance to visit the dining room and kitchen in small groups between 10:30 AM and 1 PM. The 1 PM Historic House tour will be conducted as a walk-through tour.
