Longleaf Pine Restoration

Since 2005, Torreya State Park has conducted large acreage restoration in our upland areas. Working alongside The Nature Conservancy, land that was acquired from logging companies have been transformed from thick sand pine plantations back into native wiregrass and longleaf pine stands.
