Blackwater Heritage State Trail

Blackwater Heritage State Trail, the westernmost state rail-trail, winds through the historic town of Milton and extends 8.1 miles north to join the U.S. Navy's 1.5-mile Military Heritage Trail, which ends at the Naval Air Station Whiting Field.

Seabranch Preserve State Park

Ancient oceans shaped the physical landscape of this park, allowing a variety of habitats to develop over time. In less than a mile, visitors can see rare sand pine scrub, scrubby flatwoods, a baygall community and a mangrove swamp.
