Friends of Silver Springs are people and businesses that care about the quality of life in the Ocala/Marion County area. We are people with diverse interests but share a common thread: We care about the natural resource we have available in Silver Springs State Park. We are bike riders, boaters, equestrians, campers, dog walkers, photographers, hikers, birders, nature enthusiasts, parents and grandparents, schoolchildren, volunteers and business owners. We incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in 2005. We hold monthly meetings and sponsor events at the park.
