Charles Ellis
Charles Ellis is the recipient of the award for Adult Volunteer of the Year.
For years, visitors to Fort Mose Historic State Park asked, "Where's the Fort?" Thanks to Charles Ellis' dedication and collaboration with Dr. Jane Mahoney and the Florida Parks Foundation, the fort is being rebuilt after its destruction in 1740. It will stand as a lasting tribute to the story of Fort Mose.
