Connie has always enjoyed being outdoors and working on projects.
After a short enlistment in the Navy and working for the federal government for 20 years, Connie decided that it was time to apply to the Florida Park Service.
Connie got hired into Forest Capital Museum State Park in Perry as a Park Attendant where she learned all about the park and its heritage.
A Park Service Specialist Position came available at Madison Blue Springs and Connie knew that it would be a good fit for her. At Madison Blue, Connie spends her days assisting visitors, directing park staff, overseeing projects, maintaining the park grounds and protecting the spring.
Connie’s favorite aspect of the park is the beautiful blue, azure colored water and watching the turtles and fish swim peacefully around the spring. Connie also enjoys taking walks on the nature trail and watching for different bird species.
