Come visit Forest Capital Museum and discover the historical significance of the timber and turpentine industries in Florida. Our museum offers dioramas, displays and educational materials on the timber products industry.

Take a stroll back in time by visiting the Florida Cracker Homestead, a complex of authentic and replica structures typical of mid-19th and early 20th century Florida settlers.

The park offers a variety of recreational opportunities and amenities including picnicking, a playground, covered pavilions, hiking, historical exhibits and structures, and nature study. Call the park office for details on reserving a pavilion for family gatherings or special events.

The park is open Thursday through Monday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Regardless of how you choose to enjoy your time in the great outdoors, come join us for a taste of the Real Florida!
