As spring casts its magical spell on Bald Point State Park, nature awakens with vibrant colors and melodies. The flatwoods are blooming with wildflowers, and the beaches are filled with sweet salt air. Migratory birds return, filling the skies with their graceful flights and melodious songs. It's a season of renewal and excitement.
This spring, we invite you to explore our network of hiking trails and witness the wonders of the migrating birds. Grab your binoculars and keep an eye out for colorful warblers, elegant herons, and majestic bald eagles.
In the heart of the park, Chaires Creek offers a serene environment for canoeing and kayaking. Paddle along the waterways and immerse yourself in the peaceful ambiance surrounded by saltmarsh and the soothing sounds of nature.
Our dedicated staff and volunteers have been busy preparing the park for this bustling season, ensuring the trails are safe and the facilities are in top-notch condition. Join us in preserving the natural beauty of Bald Point State Park by following Leave No Trace principles and respecting the wildlife that call this place home.
We look forward to your visit!
