Cooler mornings give way to warm afternoons that make any activity at Ichetucknee Springs more enjoyable.
I can think of no better place to spend a day with family and friends than Ichetucknee Springs. Whether you enjoy swimming, tubing, paddling, hiking or picnicking, North Florida is perfect for any outdoor activity.
As you enjoy your visit, please take a moment to view the river from our north launch and listen to the sounds. You may hear turtles plopping into the river, birds singing and children playing in the headspring. These are the same sounds that people witnessed here 8,000 years ago! I am proud to be part of an agency that is dedicated to ensuring that this resource will be protected for future generations to enjoy.
Tubing is available from our south main entrance year-round. The water stays 72 degrees and crystal-clear year-round. Some of the best scenery and wildlife viewing opportunities are between midpoint and the south takeout area. Please visit Tubing Information for more details.
Paddling Adventures rents canoes, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards from the boathouse year-round (located at the north entrance by the canoe launch).
Grills and picnic tables are available at the north and south entrance for a picnic after your swim or tubing trip. Covered pavilions are available at our south main entrance for larger gatherings.
