Just two miles west of Dunedin, Honeymoon Island offers stunning Gulf views, sandy beaches and scenic nature trails that wind through one of Florida’s last remaining virgin slash pine forests. Visitors can relax at the Café Honeymoon or the South Beach Pavilion, which provide chair and umbrella rentals overlooking the water. The island is rich in wildlife, including gopher tortoises, raccoons, armadillos, ospreys and nesting bald eagles.
