Florida State Parks are Open for the Holidays

Florida State Parks are a great place to celebrate the holiday season.

From visits with Santa to holiday hikes and spectacular light displays, many parks are hosting special holiday events throughout the month of December. Most of Florida’s state parks and trails will be open 8 a.m. to sunset on Wednesday, Dec. 25.

Festival of Lights at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park

Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park and the Stephen Foster Citizens Support Organization will illuminate the park with holiday lights once again from December 4th until December 24th.

Celebration of Lights at Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park

Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park and the Friends of Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park host the 29th Annual Celebration of Lights from December 19th until Christmas Eve, December 24th, and again on December 26th.
