2020 Volunteer Service Awards

Sue Buchheister has received the Director’s Exceptional Service and Dedication Award for contributing more than 25,000 hours of volunteer service at Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park.

Vernon Compton has received the 20 Years of Service Award for his work providing plants and shade along the Blackwater Heritage State Trail, ensuring that native species can thrive.

Anne Pierce has received the 20 Years of Service Award for her efforts at Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Historic State Park.

Lois Watson has received the 20 Years of Service Award for her efforts at Myakka River State Park.

Nelly Broos has received the 2020 Irene DeLaby Award for contributing more than 10,000 hours of volunteer service at Rainbow Springs State Park.

Mike Crane has received the 2020 Irene DeLaby Award for contributing 12,000 hours of volunteer service to Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park.

Jeff Farnsworth has received the Irene DeLaby Award for contributing 10,000 hours of volunteer service at Oscar Scherer and Myakka River state parks.

Stephanie Grant has received the 2020 Irene DeLaby Award for contributing 10,000 hours of volunteer service at John D. MacArthur Beach State Park.

John Norris has contributed more than 10,000 hours of volunteer service. He has earned the Irene DeLaby Award.
