Dan & Sharyl Traylor

Blackwater Heritage State Trail

Dan and Sharyl have always loved camping and outdoor activities. Since retiring in 2016, they began hosting in Missouri State Parks before moving to Florida. They enjoy interacting with trail visitors and creating memorable visits by sharing information and answering all the questions visitors have.

They are firm believers in first appearances and value keeping a clean and safe recreational environment for local and traveling visitors. A job well done is defined by how closely they can reflect the objectives and goals of the park that choose they dedicate their time.

Dan greets visitors in the historically designed visitors center where he shares local information about the town of Milton and the recreational offerings of the Blackwater Heritage Trail. Sharyl performs daily upkeep of the clean and inviting appearance of the visitors center and playground while sharing her positive daily attitude with everyone who passes by.
