Description
Join us for a ranger-led guided tour on the boardwalk along the spring run and learn about the history, wildlife, ecology, and management of Blue Spring State Park. Learn how Blue Spring exemplifies the balance between enjoying and protecting fragile spring ecosystems. Tour is ½-mile one way to the end of the handicap-accessible boardwalk. Water and restrooms are located at the start of tour and halfway down the boardwalk. Potential safety hazards include insects, animals, uneven ground, and temperature. Participants will meet by the Manatee Outpost by the lower parking lot.
Pets are not allowed on or near the swim platforms.
