Description
Held each year across Earth Day and Arbor Day the Run for the Trees: Happy Little (Virtual) 5K encourages registered participants to complete a 5K in Florida State Parks. Registration is completed online only at floridastateparksfoundation.org. Registration closes April 1st to receive a tee-shirt, bib, & medal in the mail. Non-registered participants can still join in for the hike, but no day-of registration will be available. This 5k route is not pet friendly as a portion of the route is on the beach.
Bring water bottle and appropriate footwear for walking beach sand, pavement, and trails during the 3.1 mile hike.
