Description
Take a guided First Day Hike with a Park Ranger on the historic Old Marco Road. This part of the trail lies within the scenic Prairie Hammock Trail. You will find an early morning hike is sure to amaze even the most avid hiker and it's sure to be a great way to start your New Year! Wear comfortable clothes and hiking boots or sturdy walking shoes/sneakers. In preparing for all types of weather, bring a long-sleeved shirt and a head net as there may be some pesky bugs. A hat, sunglasses, and plenty of water are also a must. Don't forget your binoculars and a camera to capture some of the fabulous native Florida wildlife on this beautiful trail in The Real Florida!
