Come learn the basics of pruning azaleas with UF/IFAS Extension, Leon County Master Gardener Volunteers, and Maclay Gardens Staff. We are partnering with Maclay Gardens State Park to host a working workshop where we will briefly discuss best practices for pruning azaleas and then put our knowledge to work by pruning, with supervision, azaleas in the park. Bring water and be dressed for active gardening work. Please bring pruners and/or loppers, if you have them. A limited number of tools and gloves will be available for use. Entrance fee to the park will be waived for registered participants. Contact the Maclay Gardens Ranger Station at (850) 487-4556 to sign up today!
